Food and creativity have always been linked for me, whether Iâm testing a new recipe or creating a meal plan. I earned my Bachelorâs in Food and Nutritional Sciences*and have spent three years working in clinical hospital settings. In the inpatient setting, I focused on post-GI surgery patients, oncology, wound healing, navigating life with new or overactive ostomies, diabetes education, and cardiac nutrition classes.
I aim to build strong connections with weekly visits to encourage accountability. My motto is to connect science with real life, so nutrition fits the person, not the other way around. Science guides the recommendations I share, and compassion guides how we put them into practice.
Using evidence-based strategies within a Health At Every Size (HAES) framework, I focus on behaviors and overall well-being. Weâll set clear, practical steps together, learn the 'why' behind choices, and adapt as life changes. My goal is to teach sustainable skills, support you without judgment, and help you build lasting, positive habits.
Our initial visit is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and daily routines. We'll talk about whatâs been working and what feels challenging so we can identify practical starting steps. You donât need to have all the answersâtogether, we'll leave with a couple of manageable goals and a clear path forward.
I create a safe and non-judgmental space where science meets real life, ensuring your nutrition plan fits your unique lifestyleânot the other way around. My approach blends evidence-based strategies with deep compassion, focusing on **sustainable changes** and behavior rather than just numbers. Together, we will work within a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework to set practical, achievable goals and build lasting habits that help you feel your best.
