I completed my bachelorās degree in nutrition at Texas State University in 2011 and started my career with a dietetic internship at the WIC program. Since then, I have gained over a decade of experience in diverse settingsāfrom adult inpatient clinical nutrition and corporate wellness to outpatient pediatric care. I spent significant time at the Childrenās Health Medical Center in Dallas working in the GI clinic, where I supported patients with complex needs like short bowel syndrome, tube feeding, and IV nutrition (TPN).
Outside of work, I spend my time keeping up with my young kids, Everett and Eleanor, and our family pets. I married my middle school crush, Ross, and we love spending time together dancing, building, playing, and enjoying the beautiful chaos of family life.
My goal is to help you learn how to use food as a tool to improve your life, rather than a source of stress. I work 1:1 with clients to heal their relationship with food, increase confidence in their choices, and improve their day-to-day well-being. When you work with me, you can expect a supportive counselor who seeks to understand your personal situation first, then provides the motivation, information, and tools you need to be successful.
