I help people take control of diabetes and nutrition with personalized, realistic care. As an RD and CDCES, I’ve supported clients through every stage—from prediabetes and gestational diabetes to long-term Type 1 and Type 2 management, as well as heart health and bariatric surgery nutrition.

Approach to care

As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I make blood-sugar management simple and doable. We’ll set clear targets, build meals you actually enjoy (including your cultural foods), and create step-by-step habits that fit your real life—no guilt, no rigid rules. I focus on practical swaps, portion confidence, and routines that work on busy days. Whether you’re aiming for steadier numbers, sustainable weight change, or better energy, I’ll guide you with evidence-based coaching and supportive accountability. I offer visits in English or Spanish so you feel fully understood and empowered from day one.

Your First Session

Our first session is a dedicated space to focus entirely on your health and goals. We’ll start by getting to know you—reviewing your medical history, any recent lab work, and your long-term health aspirations. Because I work holistically, we will also explore the foundations of your health, including your energy levels, sleep patterns, and stress. From there, we’ll dive into your current lifestyle and relationship with food to identify where you need the most support. We’ll conclude by building a collaborative plan of action with practical, achievable steps, ensuring you leave the session feeling confident and ready for the next step in your journey.
